Aaaaargh!

A month has gone by since the last post and I’ve basically made no progress. I did teach my fellow students my warmup, no problem there (the only comment was that I was a bit too focused on what I was doing and not watching the students or smiling; that was nerves). Now the exam is booked for May 2nd and I am almost no further along with my solo. So, this weekend is dedicated to Jamiroqui. Though I’ve changed my choice of song, it’s still Jamiroqui with the same choreo as before. I’m just finding it easier now than with the last song. However, dancing in my apartment is still hard – not enough space, can’t make too much noise, floors slippery… I’m going to have to hire a studio for an hour or two to rehearse.

At least now I have the level dances committed to memory, I think. I’m more confident with them. The theory – not so much….

Ah, it’s all too much… Why do I put myself through these things???
